This fully illustrated Star Trek: The Official Starships magazine covers the Vulcan Long Range Shuttle. The Vulcan Long Range Shuttle Ship was designed to make long interstellar journeys at high warp speeds. During the V'Ger crisis, Spock used this shuttle to join his crew on the newly-refitted Enterprise. Named Surak after the father of modern Vulcan Society, it had a typical design of the 23rd century.
